Beauty and Grace
This early October evening was the perfect way to start Fall wedding season at Stella Plantation. Arelis and Nick were a delight to work with and plan for from the very beginning to the very happy end. This couple showed beauty and grace from the inside out. Arelis could not have looked more stunning in her elegant wedding gown and Nick was beaming ear to ear in his handsome attire from the moment he saw his bride. It is always a blessing to see two people who love each other make the promise of a lifetime under the oaks of Stella Plantation, but it is extra special when the couple makes the job not only easy but so enjoyable.
Nick and Arelis took full advantage of Stella's décor package, which paired perfectly with the elegant floral by Poppy and Mint Floral and festive pre-ceremony refreshments from 12 Seasons Catering. The setup was both inviting and relaxing. As the guests arrived comfortably by New Orleans Tours, Arelis and Nick spent the day with their wedding party getting ready in Stella's Bridal Suite and Cook House.
A stranger could easily spot Arelis's beauty from a mile away, but the real treat of working with this bride was how lovely she was to everyone around her. Calm, cool, and collected - Arelis was the type of bride every bridesmaid and wedding planner hopes to work with. She spent her time getting ready in the bridal suite with her wedding party and her close family. Arelis's wedding gown was a show stopper even on the hanger, but was unbelievably gorgeous when she put it on. Her classy and elegant jewelry and accessories brought the whole outfit together. Lens of Lane Photography captured so many fantastic photos that showed the beauty of Arelis and Stella alike.
The groom was equally as delightful to work with. Nick and his groomsmen spent the day in Stella's Cook House. They relaxed, watched some football, and look their time getting ready for the special evening.
While the ceremony was very much about the beautiful couple, it appeared to be an incredibly happy memory for everyone involved.
Guests arrived with smiles on their faces. There was lots of laughter and catching up. It was very apparent that this union was one surrounded by a lot of love from family and friends. With that said, this crowd also appeared to be one that was ready for a big celebration!
Once the ceremony ended, Mr. and Mrs. Bruno were announced for the first time in Stella's Harold Pavilion for the wedding reception. The bride, groom, and all of their guests did not waste time starting the party!
From limbo, to line dancing, to just getting down - this group had the best time on Stella's spacious dance floor. Guests of all ages took part in the fun while Rumba Band and Omega Sound Entertainment both put on a fun show for everyone!
Once again, Poppy and Mint Floral accented the Harold Pavilion perfectly to create a romantic and celebratory space for this reception. On top of that, the food and drinks by 12 Seasons catering were delicious and refreshing, as always! The festive food and fun deserts just added to the perfect atmosphere for the perfect new couple.
From start to finish, it was a night to remember. Arelis and Nick were a pleasure to the very end. We wish them all the best in their life together and hope they will always remember Stella as the very special place where they united their very special love!
