Kat & Frank's LOVE Under the Oaks
From the Bride: "My wedding was the most picture perfect, magical day ever and all because of my venue choice and the amazing venue wedding coordinator, Caroline! I had a specific vision in mind and Caroline made it come to life even though it was a layout design the venue had not yet done before. The price was incredibly reasonable and included everything- chairs, linens, tables, a golf cart to drive my grandparents around in, and much more. I was able to enjoy every second of my wedding day thanks to the meticulous planning Caroline and Stella Plantation did on my behalf. Even though I was not a high maintenance bride the ambiance of my big day was crucial and Caroline not only understood my vision, but she also went above and beyond to make my vision better than even my (now) husband and I could even imagine. If you are looking for a venue for your upcoming nuptials do yourself a favor and check out Stella Plantation. You won't be disappointed."
Kat & Frank we such a fun couple to work with! To say that their day was unique is an understatement. With their fun attitude, love of family and creative touches - the day was nothing short of magical.
Kat & Frank had so much love surrounding them for their big day - but for the first look, we wanted to create a very intimate experience and so we carted them off, away from friends and family, beneath our Oak Trees set further back on the property. The affect was truly romantic.
Kat & Frank were married by their two good friends. The ceremony was so personal, funny, and full of love - it was enchanting. The sweet smiles the two exchanged and the overall energy from the circular setting was powerful.
Luminous Events created the romantic setting by using festoon lights strung between the 250-year old oak trees. They also used Edison bulb structures to create intimate spaces throughout the large area. A lounge, using the outdoor furniture from Stella and draped with fabric from a family member's wedding, made for the centerpiece of the reception tables. The bride's aunt created the ivy that ran down the long tables and decorated the white iron furniture. Candles from Luminous sparkled among the ivy.
The Groom had very few musts - but the big one - was this disco ball. Along with the epic marquee letters, Luminous Events made both seem to hover in mid-air.
If you are looking to do a sparkler exit - these two mastered theirs! It's all about fun and romance.
The groomsmen did a fantastic job decorating the "get away car." In fact, the wife of one of the groomsmen (unable to attend due the birth of their new baby!) purchased all the items and curated the look from afar. We just loved this old school tradition that they included!
